Out of Season

Les Gravats du Bost is a wonderful venue at all times of year. As can be seen from the historic weather/climate records on our Weather page, the warm weather extends over a long season, including Easter and Spring holidays as well as far into the Autumn. We have enjoyed Christmas lunch outside on the terrace in some years and even when it is frosty, we are blessed with blue sunny skies for much of the winter.

At cooler times of the year, the modern oil-fired underfloor heating system, double glazing and a large woodburner ensure that the property is a snug retreat too - Christmas is an especially beautiful time here, with bright sunny days and glittering, frosty landscapes.

There are wonderful things to do and see over the Christmas and New Year break. Bordeauxʼs Christmas market and outdoor skating rink are magical and New Yearʼs Eve is celebrated in style in France!

Les Gravats du Bost, due to its size and solid comfort is the perfect retreat for large family or combined groups to come together to celebrate the Christmas or New Year.
