Ports

Les Gravats du Bost is easily accessible by Ferry/Car with the major ports of Calais (8 hours drive), Le Havre (6 hours), Caen (5.5 hours), Dieppe (6.5 hours), Cherbourg (7 hours), St Malo (5.5 hours) and Roscoff (7 hours).

 

Air Travel 

Airports are close at hand and an easy drive away - and are very well supported by the main airlines. (There are many people who live here now and commute to the UK for work!)

Bordeaux (1.5 hrs) and Bergerac (1.25 hrs) are both well connected with flights to the EU and offer a multitude of airline options - some all year - Easyjet, British Airways, AirFrance, Ryanair and some seasonally - FlyBe, Monarch etc.

Road

We're well connected to the French autoroutes - the main A10 Bordeaux to Paris autoroute is 45 mins West of Les Gravats du Bost and the N10 which joins this at Poitiers is only 30 mins away. Driving in France is a real pleasure and travel times, even over distances, can be much more reasonable than in the UK.
